Foodbank
Foodbank in Woking provides emergency food supplies to people in crisis.
“The foodbank was there when we really needed it, it was an absolute lifeline.”
We don’t think anyone in our community should have to face going hungry. That’s why we partner with other local churches to provide three days’ nutritionally balanced emergency food and support to local people who are referred to us in crisis. In 2018 Foodbank gave out emergency food supplies to over 3,000 people in our town.
We recognise that stopping hunger is about more than food, which is why we’re working to provide a range of new services like money and debt advice to help people to break the cycle of poverty.
