Fostering and Adoption

“A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in His holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families” Psalm 68 v 5-6

Fostering and AdoptionAt any given time in the UK there are thousands of children who are waiting to be adopted, and tens of thousands who need foster carers.

In Welcome Church a number of families have opened their homes to provide foster care or adoption to children and young people, providing support and love for those young people who have in most cases experienced loss, abuse and neglect and worst of all are without families to support and care for them. Many Christians find that this is a great way to share the selfless love and grace that we have received from God.

We work with Surrey County Council Fostering and Adoption Recruitment Team to promote fostering and adoption, so please do let us know if you want to find out more about fostering and adoption or would like to attend our next Fostering Discovery Evening.
